So I'm hookin' up with C tomorrow, and I've got this monstrous pimple. What luck...not that its a huge deal, but its crampin' my style damnit.=)
Thanksgiving was pretty nice...just getting together with family and my parent's vietnamese friends. Its these get-togethers that remind me what it is to be vietnamese really. The way my dad cracks jokes, and the way vietnamese people interact, it always makes me feel like I'm reconnecting.
I was in charge of the mashed potatoes, and I gotta say, they turned out pretty damn good. (thats me tooting my own horn a bit...beware, its been known to happen). Leftovers were just as good, if not better, because I was really hungry this morning.
Bought the Ice Age dvd today...as kind of like a splurge. I've been splurging alot on myself. Its this whole gift for rationalizing that I have. "You deserve this one Dan-baby. You work hard. And besides, its not like you're buying something completely useless. Its all research. Its like buying books, but in your field, you study movement. Go ahead, treat yourself. You deserve this one." Basically the same thing I told myself when I splurged on the Iron Giant dvd on my bday.=)
