Man I've been busy this semester. I haven't been this busy steadily since I don't know when. No feelings of being overwhelmed at the moment, and even though things are quite busy, I don't think I'll be getting that way this semester. Its busy, but it doesn't seem to like it'll pick up...this seems about it, y'kno what I mean?
Today we had a substitute for one of my classes...I walked in to find a surprisingly young woman sitting in the Instructor's chair...pretty cute, fit... After settling in and gearing up for lecture for a minute or two, I heard her speak. "Hellow claus, I'll be substitooting today." "Wow...she's got an accent!" I instantly thought to myself..."dope." As she spoke, I listened, not so much to what she said (cuz to be honest, the shit was boring man...=), but to how she said it. Like instead of saying "erase the board", she said "scrub the board"...instead of pronouncing "patent" like we do, she said "paytent"...its the little things=) I was entranced simply by the way she talked...and this left me pondering the thought, "can I just dig a chic on her accent alone??" Interesting food for thought...saved in the data banks for a proverbial rainy day.
Well, just a short one today. I've got mucho things to do tomorrow and the next day, and the next day...till the almighty weekend rolls around....ahh....
